Registration at venue
Online registration will be closed on February 25th,
2008. Thereafter, you will only be allowed to register onsite on
March 5th
and 6th from 8.00 am, at the FIERGS Convention Center, in Porto
Alegre, Brazil.
Congress Registration Fees
Different registration fees will be applicable according to country
social and economic status of the attendee (according to the World
Bank classification). Please refer to the list below to check
the appropriate fee for the geographical area of the country in
which you reside:
Category A: High-income countries
Category B: Upper-middle income countries
Category C: Lower-middle income countries
Category D: Low-income countries

received without payment will not be processed.

Bank voucher
After completing your online registration process, you will be
able to print the bank voucher and pay it at any Brazilian lottery
shop, high street bank or through internet banking.
Credit cards
Paying by credit card makes your registration easier
and faster.

Receipt
You will receive your enrolment payment receipt upon registration
approval.
Enrolment Cancellation and refund
Refund requests must be e-mailed or faxed to the organizers
of the conference.

Requests received by December
15th,
2007 will be eligible for an 85% refund on
the registration fee. |

Requests received by February 25th,
2008 will be eligible for a 70% refund on
the registration fee. |

Proof of student status
Those who registered as students must prove their status (proof
of course enrolment or a letter certifying enrolment status printed
on the official letterhead of the school and bearing the official
stamp of the school). Such documents can be sent by fax: 55 51
3061-2957 or e-mail: inscricoes@abev.com.br
If such documents cannot be sent in advance, students are expected
to produce them when they check in. Proof of identity is also
required. New registrations should also present these documents
if they wish to register as students. Failure to produce these
documents will result in their registration as non-medical staff.
Payment Covers:
- registration at the 4th
World Congress on Ultrasound in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine
- conference materials (notepad, pen)
- the official conference program including the abstracts of the
approved papers
- badges that provide access to all conference areas
- conference certificate
Check-in
From 8.00 am on March 5th,
2008, at the Registration Counter, FIERGS Event Center, situated
at Av. Assis Brasil, 8787, Porto Alegre, Brazil. Attendees are
requested to provide proof of identity.
